Delete Your Account

1. Delete from inside the Drape app

The fastest way to permanently delete your Drape account and all associated data is from inside the app itself:

1. Open the Drape app on your Android device.
2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right of the home screen.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Delete my account.
5. Confirm on the dialog that appears.

Your account is deleted immediately and cannot be recovered. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.

2. Delete by email request

If you cannot access your Drape app (for example, because you have uninstalled it or are unable to sign in), you can request account deletion by emailing us.

Send an email to mail@drape.co.in from the same address you used to sign in to Drape. Use the subject line “Delete my Drape account”. No other information is required — we will verify your identity using the email address and process the request within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

When you delete your account, all of the following are removed from our systems:

• Your name, email address, profile photo, and Google account identifier
• Your entire wardrobe — including every item, its photos, and metadata
• Your complete wear log
• All outfit recommendations generated for you
• Your purchase review history and all imported order items
• All connected Gmail accounts and their OAuth tokens
• Your FCM push notification token

We also revoke your connected Gmail OAuth tokens directly with Google at the moment of deletion, so Drape can no longer access your email on a best-effort basis even if the revocation server call fails.

4. What may be retained

We may retain certain limited information even after account deletion, strictly for the purposes described below and only where required by law or legitimate business necessity:

• Anonymized, aggregated usage analytics — cannot be linked back to you
• Transaction and billing records where required by tax law (Drape currently does not take direct payments, so this is typically not applicable)
• Records necessary to comply with a subpoena or legal request

Any such retained information is kept only for as long as the relevant obligation requires and is not used to identify you or market to you.

5. Timeline

In-app deletion is immediate. Email-based deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt, in line with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
